The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Party

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a wide array of heroes, and a thrilling plot showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and sinister influences expanding in influence within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Spoilers for Episode 3 of the new season lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

The third episode finished on a dramatic pause and presented the initial group of heroes who will split off from the central cast to begin their independent quest, apart from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering a large ensemble, it was obvious from the start that maintaining everyone at one table would be unworkable.

This explains, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Overture, intertwining the personal journeys before splitting into three distinct groups: Fighters, Strategists, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed battle-oriented story mode where non-violent answers are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the events of the latest installment make it clear why these five characters are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

First, the group understands precisely where to proceed after a violent first encounter with the antagonists.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—exploited the foes for his own means, breaking into the hidden lair, striking the character, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.

Casimir then paid off his liabilities and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, above the city, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each character has a specific drive to exit the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • The adventurer knows Timmony and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to eliminate the fighter and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their reputation as key figures in House Halovar could help the party reach locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, Teor pledged a life debt to Wicander for his rescue and will now go with him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The hero are known criminals.
  • The warrior and The healer betrayed the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by the family.

This leaves them little choice but to travel to Timmony in quest for the antagonist.

Future Episodes

From episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the other eight players to assemble the Questers and Planners parties.

Fans can expect finding out which characters will be in which group in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
